‘Young male’ arrested after crashing car into wall in Wiltshire village

A ‘young male’ has been arrested after crashing a car into a wall in a Wiltshire village.

Emergency services were called to the scene in High Street, Box, in the early hours of this morning (Friday) following a report of a road traffic collision.

An old-style Ford Fiesta demolished a wall – with the vehicle sustaining significant front-end damage.

It’s understood the driver was arrested on suspicion of drink driving and is in custody.

Wiltshire Police has been approached for further comment.
