Woman PRONOUNCED DEAD at Swindon home after paramedics battled to save her life

A woman’s died at an address in Swindon yesterday evening, police have confirmed.

South Western Ambulance Service sent an ambulance, a rapid response vehicle and an operations officer (lead paramedic) to the scene at around 6pm on Tuesday.

Despite paramedics’ efforts to revive the casualty at the Welcome Avenue home, the 52-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Her next of kin have been informed.

A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “Her death is not being treated as suspicious and a file is being prepared for HM Coroner.”
