Woman ‘lucky to be alive’ after fellow driver ‘shot at her’ on M4 in Swindon

A woman says she’s ‘lucky to be alive’ after a fellow driver ‘shot at her’ on the M4.

The incident is said to have happened on the motorway at around 2.30pm today (Thursday).

It’s claimed the male driver of a flatbed or tipper-style van sounded its horn during a road dispute on the M4 stretch between junctions 16 and 15.

The vehicle is said to have followed the woman’s car, shooting at it with what is thought to be an air rifle or metal ball-bearing gun.

“I am still in total shock that I am still here living and breathing”, the alleged victim said.

Wiltshire Police is understood to be investigating the incident.
