A woman was found dead at her home after ‘after a lighting barbecue indoors’.
Emergency services were called to Granville Road, Melksham, at around 10am on Sunday (16 July).
A woman, aged in her 50s, was found unresponsive and paramedics pronounced her dead at scene.
At the height of the incident, locals saw police cars, an ambulance a fire officer in attendance.
Wiltshire Police confirmed that that death is “not being treated as suspicious”.
Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said it sent a fire officer “in support of a police incident”.
