UPDATE: Penhill dog attack: ‘American Bully’ seized by police after woman and child injured


Emergency services are reportedly responding to a ‘dog attack’ in Swindon.

Ambulances and at least six police vehicles were seen attending a property in Penhill Drive, Penhill at around 4pm today (Good Friday, 15 April).

Local residents claim two people were injured by a dog.

One said: ‘An XL Bully attacked the woman, ripping chunks of skin from her body in multiple places.

‘One child got nipped on the ear.’

At about 5.30pm, officers were seen putting a dog in the back of a police van.
