Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service (DWFRS) is asking people not to relieve themselves on their property following a recent incident.
The stern warning comes after a firefighter caught a person urinating outside Bradford on Avon Fire Station in recent days.
The member of the public decided to use the station grounds as a toilet despite there being more than one public toilet facility in the near vancinity.
In a statement, a DWFRS spokesperson said they “never thought we’d be writing such a post”, adding that “we feel this needs to be addressed”.
“One of our firefighters has not long witnessed a member of the public urinating on Fire Station ground, that’s right, urinating at the station”, they continued.
“When challenged, it was pointed out to the member of the public that they were indeed trespassing and the station is NOT their toilet!
“It was also pointed out that there is multiple public toilets within a few minutes walk of the station. Our station is NOT your toilet!”
