This morning (Saturday) a specialist search team and a dog unit were tasked with uncovering any potential evidence at the scene.

A woman, aged in her 40s, is being held in custody on suspicion of murder.

The home, a bungalow, remains cordoned off with a police officer standing guard.

“We can’t believe it’s happened here, we still don’t really know what happened”, a worried neighbour told Wiltshire 999s.

“It’s normally really quiet around here and we all get on well, everyone knows everyone and there’s never any issues.”
