Wiltshire Air Ambulance tasked as ‘teenager breaks leg’ at skatepark

Wiltshire Air Ambulance was tasked to Marlborough for a medical incident today (Saturday).

According to locals, a teenager broke his leg whilst attending a skatepark, located at the recreation ground on Salisbury Road, at around 8pm.

The yellow and green helicopter landed just metres from the emergency to provide specialist care alongside local ambulance crews at the scene.

The casualty was put onto a stretcher and taken into a land ambulance, before being rushed to hospital for further treatment.

Wiltshire Air Ambulance’s critical care medics returned to the aircraft and were flown back to the base near Melksham.
