Wiltshire Air Ambulance has been spotted flying in the skies in west Wiltshire this afternoon, five weeks after the chopper malfunctioned at its new Semington airbase.
The aircraft, Helimed 22, was seen in the sky over Melksham, Staverton, Trowbridge Bradford-on-Avon and South Wraxall from around midday today, Wednesday 18 July.
A Melksham resident, who didn’t wish to be named but says she has donated hundreds of pounds to Wiltshire Air Ambulance over the past few years, told Wiltshire 999s that she called the charity to ask if it was flying again and the operator refused to comment. 
It is not clear whether the helicopter is fully operational again, or if this is a test flight.
