Wiltshire Air Ambulance lands in Frome car park after ‘pedestrian hit by vehicle’

A pedestrian has reportedly been hit by a vehicle in Frome, Somerset.

Wiltshire Air Ambulance landed in the car park outside the Cheese & Grain at around 4.30pm this afternoon (Saturday, 17 September).

It’s understood a pedestrian was struck by a van near the Boyle Cross in Market Place.

The road is blocked while emergency services attend the scene, with traffic building in the area.

It’s not yet clear how serious the pedestrian’s injuries are.

The route could remain closed for several hours if police deem their injuries are serious and a collision investigation is required.
