Wiltshire Air Ambulance lands in Salisbury after woman becomes trapped under HORSE

Air ambulance medics were called to help a woman who was trapped under a horse this afternoon.

Wiltshire Air Ambulance, alongside South Western Ambulance Service paramedics and the fire and rescue service, were called to the incident on Ashmore Lane in West Dean, Salisbury at around 2pm.

On arrival of specialist animal rescue firefighters, the casualty was no longer trapped.

A spokesperson for South Western Ambulance Service said: “The female patient did not require any critical care and was discharged at the scene.”
