Wiltshire Air Ambulance lands as four ambulances sent to Swindon emergency

Ambulance crews are attending an address in Swindon following a medical incident.

Wiltshire Air Ambulance has also been tasked to the emergency, landing in a field at Swindon Academy’s Penhill site in Alton Close, at 4.20pm (3 January).

Witnesses report that there are four ambulances in attendance in Downton Road – with the first crew arriving at around 4pm.

It’s understood they are responding to a cardiac arrest within a private residential address.

Wiltshire Air Ambulance left the scene within 20 minutes of landing – it’s believed it was stood down.

There are no police vehicles in attendance at present, which would signify that this incident is a medical emergency and not a criminal matter.
