Warrant issued for arrest of woman who allegedly assaulted homeless man

Magistrates have issued a warrant for a Melksham woman who allegedly assaulted a homeless man last summer.

Summer Bransgrove, 21, was due to attend Swindon Magistrates’ Court this afternoon to face a charge of assault by beating dating back to 7 August 2020.

The defendant, of Kingsbury Square, failed to attend.

A warrant without bail was issued by magistrates.

Wiltshire Police officers will now be tasked with locating, arresting and remanding Miss Bransgrove in custody ahead of her next court appearance.


UPDATE 8.35AM (29 April): Summer Bransgrove was arrested and remanded in custody overnight. She will appear before Swindon Magistrates’ Court this morning.
