Two air ambulances land on field for medical emergency inside Swindon flats

Two air ambulances landed in Swindon for a medical incident this afternoon.

Wiltshire Air Ambulance and Great Western Air Ambulance touched down on Buckhurst Fields off Marlowe Avenue for a serious medical emergency at a nearby property.

999 teams were called to the incident at around 2pm today, Monday 5 February.

A number of firefighters were also at the scene, thought to be assisting paramedics. Two ambulances parked outside the building, alongside a paramedic officer vehicle.

One female casualty was airlifted to Southmead Hospital in Bristol.
