Teenage boy has his Nike Air Max trainers stolen in violent street robbery in Trowbridge

A teenage boy’s had his Nike trainers stolen in a street robbery in Trowbridge.

The 16-year-old victim was walking along West Street, close to Wingfield Road, at around 7.30pm on Thursday when he was approached by a group of four youths who demanded he hand over his black Nike Air Max trainers.

They knocked him to the ground and he sustained minor injuries to his head and back, which did not require medical treatment.

The group, who are described as three white boys and one mixed-race boy, all aged between 15 and 18, then ran off towards the park opposite Trowbridge railway station.

One of them, who is described as having ginger hair, was riding a red and black bike.
