Swindon teen, 15, loses teeth after being punched ‘for falling into car’

A teenager lost several teeth after being punched ‘for falling into a car’, police say.

The incident happened in Corporation Street, Swindon, at approximately 4.20pm on Christmas Eve 2022.

The 15-year-old was walking past Baraka Groceries near Lagos Street when he was attacked.

It followed him falling off a kerb and making “light contact” with a parked car. A man exited the vehicle and punched the boy in the face before driving off.

The victim lost several teeth and suffered cuts to his mouth as a result of the assault.

A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “We’d like to hear from any witnesses to the incident or anyone who was passing the area and may have dash cam footage.
