Swindon man to stand trial accused of strangling 91-year-old father

A man is to stand trial accused of strangling his 91-year-old father.

Muhammed Adnan Khan appeared at Swindon Crown Court this morning (Friday).

The 49-year-old defendant, of Ferndale Road, denies offences of non-fatal intentional strangulation, common assault on 19 August this year.

He also denies a charge of assault occasioning actual bodily harm against the same alleged victim on 8 September this year.

A trail will take place in early 2024, on a date to be fixed.
