Swindon man charged with child sex offences after paedophile sting

A Swindon man has been charged following a paedophile hunter sting on Wednesday.

The group Justice for the Innocent attended Mark Chester home address in Shrivenham Road at around 7pm on Wednesday, claiming that he had been talking to children online.

The 40-year-old suspect appeared a Swindon Magistrates Court this morning and was remanded in custody ahead of his crown court appearance on 9 November.

He’s charged with child grooming and the breach of an existing Sexual Offences Prevention Order.
