Swindon man, 36, arrested and charged for Tesco Extra car park stabbing

A man as been charged following a stabbing outside Tesco Extra.

In the incident, which happened in the supermarket’s car park on Ocotal Way in Swindon last weekend, a man was seriously injured with a knife.

Carl Thomas from Beech Avenue, was arrested on Friday 8 September, and was charged the following day. He’s charged with wounding with intent (grievous bodily harm) and possession of an offensive weapon.

36-year-old Thomas was remanded in custody to attend Swindon Magistrates Court this morning, Monday 11 September.
