Swindon magistrates issue two arrest warrants as men failed to attend court

Swindon Magistrates’ Court has issued two arrests warrants this morning.

Two men were due to attend the court charged with offences, but they failed to arrive in time for their hearing at 9.30am.

Crown prosecutor Rachel Bailey said she was sure the defendants were aware of their court dates and requested warrants for their arrest without bail.

Wiltshire Police will now be tasked with locating and arresting the following men in the Swindon area:

• Paul Donachie, 39, of Queens Drive – charged with being drunk and disorderly in a public place on 4 March 2021

• Harry Hayes, 19, of Montague Street, Rodbourne – charged with possession of cocaine and cannabis on 21 November 2019
