Trowbridge stabbing victim Dan Brown understood to be stable in hospital

The victim of a stabbing in Trowbridge during the early hours of this morning is understood to be in a stable condition in hospital, according to one of his friends.

He’s been named locally as musician Dan Brown, a well-liked man with lots of friends. He’s also a guitarist in a band called Severed Illusions.

27-year-old Dan suffered a puncture wound to his chest in a serious assault which happened in Charlotte Square, near Timbrell Street, this this morning.

He was taken to Southmead Hospital in Bristol by air ambulance.
