Soldier killed in Stroud nightclub was based in Larkhill barracks

Wiltshire soldier Jack Mitchell has been killed during an incident in Stroud.

Paramedics worked to save the life of Larkhill-stationed soldier, 24, in the lobby of Warehouse nightclub in Gloucestershire at just after 2am on Sunday, 5 February.

Since, 28-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murder has been released on bail.

His sister, Jasmine Mitchell, wrote: “The pain is indescribable. My heart is broken and always will be. My big brother, my soldier, my Jack.”

Wiltshire police officers have also been called in to assist in the investigation.
