Snow causes crash involving two lorries on A36 in Wiltshire

The snow has caused a crash involving two lorries on the A36 in Wiltshire.

Emergency services were called to the major route at around 5am today (Saturday).

The road, between the B3414 Heytesbury and the A350 Warminster, is closed both ways.

Recovery has been arranged and no one is believed to have been seriously injured. It is likely to remain closed for several hours.

National Highways said the lorries collided after they “lost traction in the snow”.
