Residents living in a quiet residential housing estate in Royal Wootton Bassett were shocked to see a chopper land in the middle of a small communal garden area this afternoon.
The Great Western Air Ambulance’s red temporary helicopter (their normal one is green) touched down on Buxton Way at around 2pm for a serious medical emergency a few streets away.
It’s not believed the casualty suffered any life-threatening injuries.
