A serious road traffic collision on the A303 has closed the road in both directions tonight.
All three emergency services are at the scene of the three car crash near Hindon.
An eyewitness at the scene has told Wiltshire 999s that a car was attempting to overtake another when it collided with an oncoming vehicle. 
The road is closed between the A36 and the A350 near Chicklade.
Wiltshire Police say the road will be closed until the morning for collision investigation work.
Fire crews from Tisbury and Mere used holmatro cutting equipment to release two people.
According to Highways England, a diversion is in place. Eastbound traffic should follow solid black diamond diversion symbol and westbound should follow solid black circle.
