An horrific two car collision closed the B3089 near Salisbury in both directions last night.
Two fire crews rushed to the scene of the crash in the village of Dinton, and used holmatro rescue equipment to release one casualty trapped in one of the cars at around 8.30pm.
One casualty was conveyed to hospital via ambulance, a fire spokesperson said.
An air ambulance also landed at the scene, leaving at around 10pm.
It’s understood the female casualty suffered a serious leg injury.
