Schoolgirl airlifted to children’s hospital after being hit by bus on A360

An air ambulance landed in West Lavington this morning, after a girl was hit by a bus.

999 crews were called to A360 High Street, near Dauntsey’s School, at around 8.30am.

Wiltshire Air Ambulance touched down nearby, to assist South Western Ambulance Service treat the 10-year-old girl who’s understood to have suffered serious foot injury.

She’s been flown to Bristol Children’s Hospital, where she remains.

Witnesses are asked contact PC Jay Clifton, part of Tri-force Roads Policing Unit, on 101.
