Salisbury woman, 73, killed in two-vehicle horror smash on busy A303

The A303 was closed in both directions for more than seven hours yesterday evening after a pensioner was killed in a horror smash on the main road.

A Mazda MX-3 collided with a Vauxhall Astra Estate at around 2.10pm on 4 July in the Fonthill Bishop area of the busy A-road.

The driver of the Mazda, a 73-year-old local woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the other vehicle suffered minor injuries.
