Salisbury baby murder suspects released on bail as detectives continue death probe

Three people arrested on suspicion of murdering a newborn baby have been released on bail.

Five-week-old Jaxson Noah Egerton died at Salisbury District Hospital after being taken there by ambulance following an incident at a house in Tournament Road.

Wiltshire Police arrested an 18-year-old woman, a 23-year-old man and a 54-year-old woman on suspicion of the boy’s murder and allowing or causing [a child to suffer] significant harm.

Major Crime Investigation Team has since released the trio on bail pending further investigation.
