A Wiltshire Police spokesperson said: “We are currently dealing with a collision in Royal Wootton Bassett High Street involving a lorry and a pedestrian.

“As a result, the High Street has been closed at the Whitehill Lane and New Road junction to the Boroughfields roundabout while the scene is cleared.”

Motorists are being advised to find any alternative route whilst emergency services work at the scene.
