Swindon restaurant forced to close after travellers pitch up in car park

A Swindon restaurant has had to close after travellers pitched up in their car park.

The group set up camp outside Robins Farm, near Blunsdon, on Wednesday (1 September).

The restaurant hoped to have the situation resolved by lunchtime today (2 September), and is it understood they have managed to open again.

On Facebook yesterday, a spokesperson said: “We will remain closed for the day today, as unsafe too open with Travellers pitched up on our carpark.

“We have been advised to stay closed. Apologies, but out of our hands today.”
