Post-mortem results are ‘inconclusive’ on body of man found in Swindon

The post-mortem results on a man’s body found in Swindon on Monday morning has come back as ‘inconclusive’, Wiltshire Police has today confirmed.

The man, in his 50s, was found dead on the ground of Park Farm in Moredon – a sheltered housing complex for elderly residents – yesterday at around 7.30am.

Police officers are said to be continuing to make enquiries to piece together the man’s last known movements to try and establish how he died.

Further forensic tests are also being done, and formal identification is now to be carried out.

A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “We would like to re-appeal for anyone who may have information to help our investigation to come forward; did you hear or see anything suspicious in this area of Moredon on Sunday evening or first thing Monday morning?

“If so, please call 101 or, if you wish to remain anonymous, Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
