Police have arrested a woman after two men were stabbed in Swindon.

Officers were called to Clanfield Road in Park North at around 5pm on Saturday (12 August) following reports of a knife attack.

Several ambulances were called to the scene, as was Wiltshire Air Ambulance.

A man, aged in his 30s, sustained a stab wound to his back and was taken to hospital for treatment.

A second man, aged in his 60s, suffered a blade injury to his hand.

Wiltshire Police confirmed that both have since been discharged from hospital.

A woman, aged in her 30s, has been arrested on suspicion of inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent. She’s since been released on bail.

The force originally said, in a statement released at the time of the incident, the attack took place in a garden in Clanfield Road – but this appears to be incorrect.
