Police swarm Wiltshire village to find man suffering severe mental health crisis

Emergency services attended a welfare incident near Corsham this morning.

Police vehicles swarmed the Moor Green area of Neston following reports of a man suffering a severe mental health crisis shortly before 10am.

Local officers, armed officers and specialist dog units were sent to the incident to find the patient after he was reported missing. He was located a short time later.

South Western Ambulance Service also sent an ambulance to the scene.

The man was ‘taken to a place of safety where he can receive appropriate support’, a spokesperson for Wiltshire Police told Wiltshire 999s.
