Police smash down door to save casualty inside Chippenham bungalow

Police have smashed down a door after responding to a welfare concern in Chippenham.

Officers were reportedly called to the scene in Oaklands following a call about a casualty needing urgent medical attention inside an address at around 6pm.

On arrival, an enforcer (big red key) was used to enter the bungalow where officers found the patient and immediately called the ambulance service.

South Western Ambulance Service sent a single ambulance to the incident.

Emergency services remained at the scene at the time of publishing.
