Police search for missing 76-year-old disabled man from Salisbury

The police helicopter was up over Salisbury in the early hours of this morning as emergency services work to locate a missing disabled man.

Peter Truckle, 76, was last seen at before midday yesterday at his home in Laverstock.

He is described as white, five foot six inches tall, with short grey hair. He was wearing a black sweatshirt and black trousers.

A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: “We are concerned about Peter’s welfare – he has mobility difficulties but does have access to public transport.

“Anyone with information should call 101 and quote log number 348 of July 20. In an emergency call 999.”
