One witness told Wiltshire 999s that three schoolboys, aged around 12 to 13 years old, attacked another 12 to 13-year-old boy outside Isambard Community School.

A teacher was quick to hold the three children back, but they continued to kick and punch.

A Wiltshire Police spokesperson said: “Police were called around 3.30pm today (Friday 7 July) to an incident following reports that a group of youths were involved in an altercation with a male close to Isambard Community School.

“Officers are continuing their enquiries and are appealing for witnesses to come forward.”

It is not believed that the victim has suffered any serious injuries during the assault.
