Wiltshire Police has confirmed they were called to an “aggravated burglary”.

This means the 999 caller would have reported that they (or somebody else) were being burgled by a person with a weapon of some variety.

The force was unable to add any further details because the incident was ongoing at the time.

“Officers are currently at the scene and our enquiries are ongoing”, a spokesperson said.

Adding: “Any witnesses should call Wiltshire Police on 101, quoting log 152 of today.”
