Residents in Queen’s Drive area of Swindon were woken by the sound of a helicopter hovering overhead during the early hours of this morning, and here’s why…
Police officers called the aircraft in to assist with their search for an offender involved in a domestic violence-related incident at around 4am on Sunday morning.
The police helicopter’s crew managed to locate the suspect and officers on the ground made the arrest. They are now in custody at Gablecross Police Station.
