Police officers cordon off Wharf Green due to ‘mental health incident’

Police have cordoned off part of Swindon town centre due to a ‘mental health incident’.

Wharf Green was taped off by officers responding to reports of a person on the Brunel West multi-storey car park at around 7pm this evening (Tuesday).

Pedestrians are being stopped from entering a large section of the area near the Tented Market as police work to resolve the incident safely.
