Wiltshire Police confirm body found in search for missing Melksham man

Wiltshire Police has confirmed that a body of a man has been found in Melksham.

Officers were searching for missing Adam Watson when they made the discovery in the area this afternoon (Tuesday, 25 October).

In an earlier statement, the force said it was ‘growing increasingly concerned for his welfare’.

Whilst the man’s body has not been formally identified, Adam’s family have been informed of the development.

“We do not believe there to be any suspicious circumstances and our thoughts are with Adam’s family at this time”, a police spokesperson said.

Formal identification will not be confirmed until the coroner opens the inquest.
