Police have closed a major Swindon route after multi-vehicle traffic collision.

Emergency services were called to the crash in Queens Drive at around 6.30pm this evening (Saturday).

It’s believed two vehicles – a red Vauxhall Corsa and a silver Vauxhall Astra – were involved in the incident, with the Windsor Road junction blocked by wreckages.

Nobody’s believed to have been seriously injured, but two ambulance crews are on scene alongside a paramedic officer.

The road is closed between Coate Water Roundabout and Windsor Road – and is likely to remain shut for the next hour or two. The opposite carriageway remains open.
