Police called to Swindon address by ambulance service as woman is pronounced dead

Police officers were called to a home in Swindon this morning following the death of a woman.

Paramedics responded to reports of the casualty at a home address in Nyland Road in Nythe at around 10.30am today, with police being called to the scene shortly afterwards.

A police spokesperson said: “We were called by the ambulance service to attend a report of a sudden death of a woman in her 50s at around 11.30am today.”

The spokesperson confirmed there were “no suspicious circumstances” surrounding the death.
