The man is described as white, of medium build, with short cropped brown hair and around six feet tall. He was wearing shorts and a red or burgundy hoody.

In a warning email to their HQ’s staff, Nationwide said: “You may have noticed a small number of police along Pipers Way this morning.

“The police have since let us know that a man exposed himself to a person walking down Pipers Way (between Wakefield House and Nationwide House) earlier today.

“They have carried out a thorough search and are confident the man has now left the area. There is of course a possibility he may return, so if any of your team walk this route, please advise them not to engage in conversation with the man, but to report it to the local police on 101 straight away.”

Anyone who saw the man in the area at the time is asked to call Wiltshire Police on 101, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, where information can be left anonymously.
