A man’s been arrested following an assault on a woman in Devizes.
The incident happened in Southbroom Road at around 7pm on Monday 5 March, and involved an altercation between a man and a woman who are known to each other.
A 45-year-old man from Devizes has been arrested on suspicion of assault and released under investigation.
PC Peter Boyce, from Wiltshire East Community Policing Team, said: “We would like to speak to anyone who was in the road at the time and saw the altercation.
“We are particularly interested in speaking to two potential witnesses who are believed to have walked past at the time.”
