Emergency services are currently responding to a van on fire on the M4.
Firefighters are racing to the scene of the blaze — involving a removals vehicle — near junction 15 following reports of the incident at around 11.20pm this morning.
The westbound carriageway between junctions 15 and 16 may be closed, or partially blocked, whilst the incident is dealt with.
The two occupants of the vehicle have exited the van to safety behind the crash barrier.
Motorists should stay away from the area to avoid travel delays as the blaze is battled.
UPDATE 11.50PM: Fire crews from Stratton are currently in attendance. A photograph posted on social media by a firefighter at the scene shows the van has been completely destroyed.
