Pinehurst raids: Police discover cannabis factory and make arrests

Police have arrested three people for drugs offences following the successful execution of two simultaneous warrants in Pinehurst, Swindon, on Wednesday (5 July).

At a property in Beech Avenue, a cannabis cultivation of around 30 plants was found in an outbuilding, while two large stashes of cannabis were located at a property in Poplar Avenue.

One man in his 30s was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of and cultivation of cannabis, while a second man in his 30s was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply cannabis.

A third man in his 30s was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class B drugs, a homophobically aggravated public order offence and a historic theft.

The warrants were successfully executed by a collaboration of two Swindon Neighbourhood Policing Teams, a local tasking team and Swindon Team 5 response.
