A photograph seen by Wiltshire 999s shows a glass panel in the door replaced with wood, and local residents report that the window was smashed.

One witness said: ‘I went there at 2pm. It was closed and there was people sweeping up glass from the smashed door’.

Another claimed a note on the door said the store was closed ‘under police advice’.

It’s not yet clear what what stolen in the burglary at the pharmacy, nor whether the store will be open as usual tomorrow.
