Morrisons supermarket locked down as emergency services called to gas leak

A Morrisons supermarket in Swindon had been locked down following a gas leak this morning.

The store in Eldene was evacuated at around 11.30am as the emergency services were called to the scene.

Morrisons staff confirmed a call to 999 regarding the suspected carbon dioxide leak but as of 12.20pm, no emergency services were in attendance.

It is not clear how long the store will be closed.
