Missing Fiona Edson’s body was found ‘in a field with her mobility scooter’.
The 51-year-old mum, known as Fi to family and friends, had been missing since Sunday 25 June and despite extensive searches, she was only located early this afternoon (1 July).
Fiona was reportedly discovered in a field in the Stanley area of Chippenham alongside her mobility scooter. It’s thought she may have fallen off during her journey. 
The news comes after an intense search by Severn Area Rescue Association team members, who launched boats on the River Avon near Monkton Park this morning.
Wiltshire Police, Wiltshire Search and Rescue and numerous other organisations have spent six long days hunting for Fiona, only hoping for a positive outcome.
